A specialist conference titeled “Happy Birthday Deutschlandticket?” was held digitally on June 7 by the German Center for Rail Transport Research at the Federal Railway Authority. Mobility and regional researcher Robert Follmer from infas gave a keynote speech, taking stock of the mobility situation and the “Deutschlandticket”: How has it developed in its first year of existence? What measurable effects has it had on transportation? How does the population rate the ticket? But also: What general trends can be identified in mobility in Germany? And what effects do these in turn have on the new ticket? Answers to these questions can be found in the keynote charts, which are now available online here.
