General practitioner survey: Results and methodology report available

Eine Ärztin untersucht ein kleines Mädchen.

On behalf of the Bertelsmann Stiftung and Philipps University, Marburg, infas surveyed GPs throughout Germany about how they would like to work in the future. The aim of the study was to find out how and how much GPs would like to work today and how their work should be organized in the future.

The representative survey was conducted from November 2024 to February 2025. GPs were invited to take part in the postal survey based on a random sample from the Federal Register of General Practitioners. Alternatively, the questions could also be answered online. A total of 3,687 questionnaires were completed.

The results of the study as well as a methodological report and the volume of tables are now available and can be viewed on the Bertelsmann Stiftung website.
