The BIBB business panel examines the questions of qualification structures and the qualification measures at company level in a differentiated manner.
The population of the BIBB business panel consists of all companies with at least one employee subject to social insurance. It covers all sectors except private households and extraterritorial organizations.
The BIBB Qualification Panel collects data via computer-aided personal interviews (CAPI). Alternatively, the interviewers may hand over a self-administered paper questionnaire. Every year 3,500 company interviews are conducted. First and foremost, panel participants from the previous wave are interviewed. In addition, a refresher sample is used.
